Softball Goes 8-0 on the Week

The softball team (17-3, 25-9) finished off a strong nine days going 10-0 and taking over 1st place in the North Division after sweeping Peninsula (5-17) on April 29. The Bulldogs earned doubleheader sweeps against Shoreline, Olympic, Skagit Valley, Everett and Peninsula in those nine days.

In the first game against Peninsula, April 29, the Bulldogs were led by the strong pitching of Kristina Stadelman and a homerun by Nicole Higgins to win 7-3.

In the second game, pitcher Lauren Reid dominated on the mound while Korri Heideman dominated at the plate going 4 for 5 in the 7-2 victory for Bellevue.

The Bulldogs travel to Edmonds (0-16) May 7 for a double header starting at 1:00pm and will host second place Shoreline (13-5) for another doubleheader May 9 at Robinswood Park to finish out their North Division regular season with the first pitch at 2:00pm.
