The Bellevue College volleyball team hosted Shoreline Community College at home on Friday, Sept. 24 and fell three games to none. Outside Hitter Lisa Schouten of the Bulldogs recorded nine kills while Setter Veronica Wetzel contributed 19 assists overall. Defensively, Gabby Garrido had the most digs for the Bulldogs with seven. The BC softball program has announced the signing of ten players for the 2010-11 season. Head Coach Leah Francis announces the hiring of a new assistant softball coach, former BC softball player Whitney Whittemore. Coach Whittemore joins the BC softball staff for her first season. Whittemore returns to her alma matter after finishing her playing career at Montana State-Billings.
