Bellevue College baseball continues to bring in more accolades to the program with three players selected in the Major League Baseball draft this week. Adrian Sampson was selected by the Florida Marlins in the 16th round while outfielder Kyle Conwell was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 22nd round. Cody Edwards, a pitcher from the 2010 squad, was also selected in the 50th round by the Chicago Cubs. Edwards did not play this year as he was rehabilitating from surgery from the prior year.

The All-American Team for the Pacific Association Division was also announced today. Bellevue was represented by pitcher Kyle Swannack who was named First-Team All-American. Catcher Tyler Cox was named to the Third Team. The Pacific Association Division (PAD) is one of four divisions representing all junior colleges in the nation (along with NJCAA Division I, II, and III).
