The Bellevue College women’s tennis won two in a row over the weekend on a trek to Spokane April 5-6. In their first matches, pitting the Bulldogs against always-tough rival Spokane, Bellevue took the win 5-4. Then, on Sunday, Bellevue handily bested Treasure Valley 9-0.

Bulldogs’ head coach Jason Chapman said, “Although it looks like Spokane might be the toughest competition so far in the NWAACC Conference, we held our ground.” Bellevue won at the #1 singles position 6-0, 6-0 by Rixing Xu; at the #5 singles position 6-0, 6-3 by Preet Kaur; at the #6 singles position 6-4, 6-2 by Kristi Nasu; the #1 doubles position 8-6 by Xu and Sadie Dedon; and the #3 doubles position 8-5 by Jullie Le and Nasu. Against Treasure Valley, the competition was not as stiff with Bellevue winning each position quite easily.
