The Bellevue College women’s tennis team hosted two matches the weekend of April 13 and 14, and went 1-1 in league play. First up, the Bulldogs faced long-time rival Skagit Valley, but were rained out, leaving Bellevue with the singles loss to Skagit Valley 5-3, and not able to start the #1 doubles. On Sunday, Bellevue regrouped to beat Shoreline 8-1. Bellevue’s Rixing Xu is still undefeated at #1 singles, having beat Skagit Valley’s #1 player 6-3, 6-2, Xu took a well-needed rest against Shoreline.
Next up, the Bulldogs host Spokane at Robinswood on Thursday, April 18, then Bellevue’s travels to Mount Vernon to again take on Skagit Valley April 20, and Shoreline April 21.
