The Bellevue College women’s tennis team lost to Skagit Valley 7-2 on Saturday, April 20, at Mount Vernon. Rixing Xu won her #1 singles match 6-4, 6-1 and her #1 doubles match 7-6, 6-3 with Sadie Dedon. However, it was tough going for the rest of the team as Skagit Valley takes over the top spot in the standings with an undefeated record and Bellevue is now currently in second and Spokane in third place. The match scheduled for Sunday, April 21, at Shoreline was cancelled due to rain, and has been rescheduled for Sunday, May 5.
