Samantha Mellick’s goal on an assist from Alyssa Proudfoot was all the Bulldogs needed as the stellar goalkeeping by Ali Mackey (with 10 saves) held Olympic scoreless in the 1-0 win. The road win now puts Bellevue at 6-4-2 in league, one and a half games in front of Tacoma, who Bellevue entertains on Wednesday. A win over Tacoma will give Bellevue some breathing room for the third and final spot in the NWAACC playoffs with the top two teams in the West region; Peninsula and Highline coming up the following and final week of league play.
