Bulldogs Men’s Soccer End Season With Losses to Peninsula and Highline

Bellevue College’s men’s soccer team lost both games last week to the top two teams above them in the strong West Region, losing 4-0 at Peninsula on Wednesday October 30 and 2-0 against Highline on Saturday November 2. The Bulldogs battled early then fatigued in similar fashion as they held both Peninsula and Highline scoreless until moments before the end of the first half before yielding goals. The Bulldogs finished just two games out of the playoffs and ended the year with a much improved 5-8 record in league play. First year Head Coach Andrew Croft did an excellent job of showing improvement on the field record-wise over last year’s 2-8 squad. The men now enter the off-season as Coach Croft begins his recruiting for the January 15 signing period of the 2014 class.
