Women’s Basketball Wins at Olympic

Flemming action

Bellevue’s women’s basketball team won  their league opener Saturday January 4 at Olympic by a score of 56-51. The Bulldogs had a six point lead at halftime and did not allow the Rangers any second half momentum at a gymnasium that is often difficult for visiting teams to win at. Bellevue had a balanced attack provided by Tayler Flemming (11 points), Airashay Rogers (10), Hunter Hopkins (9), Eboney Jackson (8) and Jori Hall (8). Jackson also had 11 rebounds. The win puts Bellevue at 1-0 in league with games at home against Shoreline  on Wednesday January 8 at 5:00 PM and Saturday January 11 at 4:00 PM vs. Everett.
