Bellevue Women’s Basketball Win Pair Over Edmonds and Whatcom

The Bulldogs women’s basketball team won two games last week as they defeated Edmonds CC 58-45 on Wednesday January 15 and Whatcom CC 62-47 on Saturday January 18. Up by a score of 39-15 at halftime against Edmonds, Bellevue was able to spread out the minutes among 12 players. The balanced attack was led by Alexis Berrysmith and Jori Hall who each had 12 points. Berrysmith had 8 rebounds and 3 steals as well. Bellevue’s win over Whatcom featured a balanced scoring attack again, as four players including Berrysmith, Eboney Jackson, Tayler Flemming, and Airashay Rogers, all had 12 apiece. Bellevue, now ranked #8 in the recent Alaska Airlines NWAACC Coaches’ Poll, sits atop the North Region with a 5-0 record.
