Bellevue Women’s Basketball Holds Off Tough Olympic Squad 66-59

The Bulldogs women’s basketball team had a tough battle at home on Saturday February 1, fending off Olympic by a score of 66-59. After both teams were tied at 38 at halftime, Bellevue pulled away in the second half and were led by Hunter Hopkins who had 15 points and 8 rebounds. Jori Hall added 14 while Kaitlynn Bunger chipped in 11. Bellevue plays on the road the next two games at Shoreline on Wednesday February 5 at 5:30 pm and against Everett on Saturday February 8. Bellevue remains atop the North Region with a 7-1 league record (14-7 overall).
