After losing a close 5-4 game to Edmonds on Tuesday April 29, Bellevue College Softball came back in the nightcap to win 7-4. In game one, freshman pitcher Brooke Bonsen was brilliant in relief, allowing only two hits in three innings of work, but was saddled with the tough loss. In game two, Bellevue’s offense opened up with 17 hits to give pitcher Hannah Sauget breathing room in the 7-4 win. Lauren Burchak had three hits and three RBI’s in the game. Halee Ross also had three hits and scored three runs. Bellevue is now 11-3 in league (second place) and 22-12 overall as they prepare for this weekend’s games on Saturday April 3 at Everett.
