Pribble’s Triple Propels Bellevue to Comeback Win over Douglas 5-3; Game Two Rained Out

Bellevue College baseball won the first game of Saturday’s doubleheader at home vs. Douglas by a score of 5-3. Down 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth, Nick Pribble came up big with a two-RBI triple to give Bellevue a 4-3 lead. Pribble would later score on an out by Alex Check for an insurance run. Kurt Lindemann had two hits including an RBI single scoring Joakim Soderqvist which kept Bellevue close in the fourth, down 2-1. Bellevue went on to tie the game in the fifth on a sacrifice fly by Jordan Silva before giving up the lead again in the top of the sixth before Pribble’s heroics put Bellevue on top for good. Game two was rained out in the first inning and will be re-played from the beginning tomorrow Sunday May 4 at 1:00 pm, weather permitting.
