Men’s Golf Places Fifth in Stormy Conditions at Skagit Invite

_Q2C6648With torrential downpour rain and casual water on several areas at Avalon GC, scores were high not only for the Bellevue College Bulldog men’s golf team, but for most other contestants as well. The Bulldogs placed fifth overall out of eight teams with a two-day total of 54 over par. Taylor Smith placed second overall with a two-day total of 150 (77-73). Smith was medalist on day two, as only eight total golfers in the field broke 80 on Monday. Max Tuckner went low on Sunday with a 75 but ballooned on Monday with an 84. Chad Hall finished a stroke better than Tuckner firing rounds of 76-82 while BC’s team scoring was rounded out by the consistent play of Tyler Betcher who shot 83-82.
