Kristy Braunston won #4 singles in the match vs. 4-year college Lewis-Clark State.

Over three days May 2-4, the Bellevue women’s tennis team was on the road through Eastern Washington, Idaho, and Oregon to play matches against Spokane, Lewis-Clark State (Lewiston, ID), and Treasure Valley CC (Ontario, OR), winning the two league games at Spokane and Treasure Valley, 7-2 and 8-1, respectively, to maintain the Bulldogs lead in the conference. Although Bellevue lost 3-6 at LCSC, Rixing Xu won #1 singles, Kristy Braunston took the #4 singles, and the team of Nadean Al-Ali and Anna Lefebvre took the #2 doubles.

Next up, head coach Jason Chapman takes the team to Spokane to participate in the NWAACC Tennis Championships which the Bellevue women took eight consecutive seasons: 2005-2012. “Weee’rrre back,” is our anticipated battle cry! Championship matches are May 9 and 10.
