BC Men’s Soccer Ties Leader Peninsula But Falters at Tacoma

BC men’s soccer tied top-ranked Peninsula on the road 0-0 on Tuesday October 14 in a result that many considered a major accomplishment. The even matchup with the top team in the conference did not hold up the following day however, as BC lost to Tacoma 3-1. The game was a key loss for Bellevue, as a win would have solidified a third place standing over Tacoma. The loss now puts BC and Tacoma in a tie for third, as only three teams qualify for playoffs. Bellevue surrendered two quick goals within the first five minutes of the game to lose all the momentum gained from the battle the night before. With the two teams splitting this season, Bellevue’s remaining schedule is pivotal in order to qualify for the NWAC playoffs.
