Bellevue College volleyball made sophomore night a memorable one as the Bulldogs pulled out an exciting win in five over Everett on sophomore night, as the Bulldog sophomores Kayley Watkins, Kelcie Russell, Dani Smullin, Kristen Hickey, Sara Pulaski, Roshel Muzzall, and Loretta Forrest played their final home match at Courter Family Pavilion. After winning sets one and two by scores of 25-21 and 25-18, Everett stormed back to take sets three and four by scores of 25-21 and 25-20 before BC won the final set 15-8. Returning all-North Region players Sara Pulaski and Danielle Smullin led Bellevue as Pulaski had 23 digs while Smullin had 46 assists. Several Bulldogs contributed offensively as Loretta Forrest had 14 kills and four service aces. Freshman Angela Jones also had 14 while Kayley Watkins had 13 kills. Bellevue ends regular season play with a 10-2 record (18-10 overall), finishing second in the North Region to Olympic.  BC now prepares for the NWAC Championships next Thursday at the Tacoma Convention Center. The new venue is not only closer for Bellevue, but is also expected to be one of the most exciting venues to host an NWAC Championship. Bellevue opens up the tourney at 9:00 AM Thursday November 20 vs. Walla Walla, who finished third in the East Region.
