Women’s Basketball Defeats Edmonds 80-42

After jumping out to a commanding 40-19 first half lead, the Bellevue College women’s basketball team cruised to an 80-49 victory at home last night at Courter Family Athletic Pavilion over Edmonds. A balanced attack on all fronts was led by sophomore Eboney Jackson who had 14 points on 7-for-11 shooting and led BC with eight rebounds as well. Freshman guard Mikayla Jones had 15 points and also led the Bulldogs with three steals and five assists. Shelby Kassuba chipped in 13 points and also had eight rebounds. Bellevue faces their toughest league challenge so far this Saturday, as they travel to Port Angeles to play the only other unbeaten team in the North Region, Peninsula at 5PM.
