Bulldog Men Rally Back From Halftime Deficit to Defeat Shoreline

Down 28-22 at halftime with the threat of no longer having an undefeated league record, the Bellevue College men’s basketball team showed their toughness battling back and defeating Shoreline by a score of 62-56.Cold shooting led to the halftime deficit, as the Bulldogs were 9-for-31 from the field in the first half. Out of their 31 total shot attempts, more than half were from three-point range (16) as BC only made 3-of-16 from behind the three point arc in the first half. In the second half, Bellevue only put up seven three-point attempts and improved their field goal percentage from 29 to 44% en route to the come-from-behind win. Brian Zehr had 11 points and nine rebounds and three blocked shots in an all around effort to lead Bellevue. Dominique Jordan had 20 points while Anthony McLaughlin led BC with 11 rebounds. Bellevue’s next game is this Wednesday February 11 vs. Olympic at home. Tipoff is 7PM in Courter Family Athletic Pavilion.
