Women’s Basketball Tops Olympic 49-39

Bellevue College women’s basketball defeated Olympic in a low-scoring affair 49-39 on Wednesday February 11 at home as freshman Shelby Kassuba had 13 points and six rebounds to lead the Bulldogs. Sophomore Eboney Jackson added eight points and led BC in rebounds with nine. Mikayla Jones scored nine points and had a season-high seven steals in the game. After leading 24-18 at halftime, Olympic battled to within four points but could not overtake Bellevue as the ‘dogs maintained a manageable lead for the rest of the game.  Bellevue plays this Saturday February 14 at Skagit Valley. Tipoff is set for 5PM.
