Women’s Basketball Hold On For Road Win at Skagit Valley

Bellevue College women’s basketball took a seven point lead into halftime and held on as Skagit Valley charged back to earn a 52-47 win on the road in Mount Vernon. The Bulldogs used their limited bench to capacity as Vivienne McClean had her best night of the year, coming off the bench to lead BC in both scoring and rebounds. McClean had 13 points which included clutch 6-for-6 shooting from the free throw line and had eight rebounds. Freshman Shelby Kassuba also had eight boards and chipped in 10 points. Mikayla Jones had nine points and seven rebounds. Bellevue continues to stay atop the North Region standings and are now 10-0 in league play. The Bulldogs own the hottest win streak in the entire NWAC at 12 games. Bellevue’s next game is this Wednesday February 18 at Edmonds at 5PM.
