Bulldog Women’s Basketball Top Edmonds

Racing out to a commanding 43-16 halftime lead, Bellevue College’s women’s basketball team defeated Edmonds by a score of 73-31. The Bulldogs were hot in the first half, shooting 50% from the field as the balanced scoring attack was led by Shelby Kassuba who netted 16 points. Kassuba was 8-for-10 from the field and also had seven rebounds. Hunter Hopkins added 12 points and was 5-for-7 from the field while Kape Cosmos and Eboney Jackson had 11 and 10 points respectively. Vivienne McClean led BC with 10 rebounds. All 11 players saw action in the win that propelled Bellevue to their 20th win of the season (20-6) and are now 11-0 in league play. Bellevue plays this Sunday at home vs. Peninsula, who trails Bellevue by only one game at 10-1. Tipoff is this Sunday February 22 at 1PM.
