Women’s Basketball Ends Season With 70-57 Loss to Lower Columbia

Bellevue College’s women’s basketball team lost to Lower Columbia College by a score of 70-57 at the NWAC Championships in Kennewick. The loss ended BC’s season after going 1-2 at the tourney. The Bulldogs end the season at 12-2 in league and 22-10 overall. Several highlights of the season include a 20-win season for first-year Head Coach Mel Stubblefield, climbing the rankings from being un-ranked to being in the top five, leading the North Region for the majority of the season, and sporting one of the longest win streaks in the entire NWAC earlier this year.  Here are the summaries from the Bulldogs’ three tourney games.

Game One: SW Oregon 70, Bellevue 69

Game Two: Bellevue 72, Walla Walla 62

Game Three: Lower Columbia 70, Bellevue 57
