Bellevue College softball swept a doubleheader at home on Saturday, March 28, by scores of 6-0 in the first game and 16-3 in game two.

In game one, Brooke Bonsen scattered eight Skagit Valley hits in the complete game shutout. Tessani Dixon clubbed a three-run home run in the sixth inning and added a sacrifice fly for four RBI’s in the game. Dixon’s blast late in the game finally gave Bellevue some cushion after Bellevue had steadily added single runs in the earlier innings in what remained a close battle until the end.

In game two, Bellevue put up six runs in the first inning and never looked back, scoring in every inning until the game was called due to the run limit rule in the 5th inning. Dixon was 2-for-2 with a double and home run. Ali Roselli was also 2-for-2 with a home run. Katie Jackson and Cassidy Mast also hit home runs for Bellevue.
