BC Softball Takes Two from Shoreline

Bellevue College softball won two games on Sunday, April 12, over host Shoreline by scores of 22-6 and  12-7 at Meridian Park.

In game one, Bellevue pounded out 23 hits in the win and were led by the three some of Taylor Turner, Nikki Tiffany, and Cassidy Mast. Turner went 5-for-6 and scored four runs in the leadoff position. Tiffany drove in seven RBI’s while Mast drove in six. Tiffany had two doubles and a home run in her big effort. Ciera Lockwood and Brooke Bonsen combined in the circle to handle Bellevue’s pitching duties in the win.

In game two, Bellevue won 12-7 as the offensive contributions were spread out throughout the lineup. Seven of the nine starters recorded multiple hits. Tiffany continued her spree with a double and another home run. Tessani Dixon got the win for Bellevue.

Bellevue is now in second place in the North Region at 9-3 (17-9 overall). Their next games are this weekend at the NWAC Crossover in Yakima. Bellevue will play a tripleheader on Saturday April 18 before two more on Sunday, April 19. Here is the complete Bulldog schedule for this weekend:
