Bellevue College softball won a doubleheader at Edmonds on Sunday, May 3 by scores of 9-4 and 14-6.

In game one, Bellevue was in a hole, behind 2-0 in the first inning. The Bulldogs were then down 4-0 after two innings. The Bulldog offense then got going, scoring 3 in the top of the third inning and then stringing together 6 more runs for the comfortable win. Rachel Delamare went 4-for-5 while Erin Scott and Taylor Turner had 3 hits.

In game two, Bellevue put up 7 runs in a wild third inning in which the Tritons would answer back with 6 runs in the bottom of the frame for a 13-run total for both teams in the third. Bellevue would answer back with another 4 in the fourth inning and 3 more in the fifth to end the game due to the run limit rule. Freshman Ali Roselli led BC with 3 hits while Ciera Lockwood, Nikki Tiffany, Cassidy Mast, Heather Benjamin, and Gabrielle Vidallon all had 2 hits in a balanced offensive attack.

The Bulldogs are now sitting comfortably in second place in the North Region at 15-5 (26-12 overall). Bellevue hosts Olympic College today, Tuesday, May 5, at 2:00 p.m.
