Bellevue College softball won two at home on Tuesday, May 5, by scores of 9-4 and 9-0.

In game one, Bellevue fell behind early 4-0, but chipped away making it a close game tying it at 4-4 before running away with the win. Brooke Bonsen was the winner, settling down after the first inning and throwing the complete game, striking out nine. The big blow came in the fourth inning; four consecutive walks by Olympic pitchers set up a grand slam home run by Bulldog Tessani Dixon. Dixon has now clubbed 16 home runs this year.

In game two, Bellevue took care of business early with all nine runs in the bottom of the first inning. The game ended after five due to the run-limit rule. Heather Benjamin, Ali Roselli, and Gaby Vidallon all had two-RBI hits in the inning. Freshman Ciera Lockwood pitched all five innings of shutout ball, allowing only three hits.

Bellevue closes out the regular season with their home finale this Saturday, May 9, with a 1:00 p.m. doubleheader vs. Shoreline. The Bulldogs have clinched a spot in the NWAC Championships the following week.
