Bellevue College Baseball will host Edmonds CC Friday September 25 in an 18-inning scrimmage. The scrimmage will also serve as a tune-up for some sophomores who were also selected to play in the NWAC Showcase the following day which will be held at Lower Columbia College. The two clubs have battled each other for over 30 years; one of the longest rivalries of all sports in the NWAC. The Bulldogs are coming off a great showing last week; BC hitters popped out 16 home runs during their scout day workout before taking two informal wins over visiting Tacoma. Due to scrimmage rules, official score could not be kept, and several innings were halted before three outs, thus not making them real games.  Pre-game batting practice and defense will begin at approximately 2:00 p.m. before the 4:00 p.m. first pitch.
