The Bellevue College men’s golf team showed up prepared and ready to show the NWAC conference what they are made of in the season’s first tournament, the Centralia Invitational.  The tourney was held Sunday September 27 and Monday September 28 at Riverside GC in Chehalis and Capitol City GC in Olympia.

The men’s team was lead by freshman Eddie Abellar who picked up individual medalist honors with steady play shooting 73, 72 to win by one shot.  Strong performances by two other freshman Dexter Simonds and Isaac Hall, both with a two day total of 150, contributed to the team’s first victory of the season by four shots over a talented Olympic College team.

With a clean sweep of team and individual victories, the Bellevue Bulldogs golf program is off to a solid start.
