The Bellevue College women’s golf team showed up prepared and ready to show the NWAC conference what they are made of in the season’s first tournament, the Centralia Invitational. The tourney was a two-day event held on Sunday September 27 at Riverside GC in Chehalis and Monday September 28 at Capitol City GC in Olympia.

The team was lead by sophomore captain Meg McMullen who also picked up individual medalist honors with a solid 83-79 performance.  The ladies finished strong on day two to prove they are still the team to beat in the 2015-2016 season. The Bulldogs won by 24 strokes over North Idaho College. Lindsey Gullikson shot 85-81 to finish second overall behind McMullen while Kendra Meeker (91-85), Cedar Bowman (91-90), and Mackenzie Alamillo (103-90) were Bellevue’s other scores.

With a clean sweep of team and individual victories, the Bellevue Bulldogs golf program is off to a solid start.
