The Bellevue College women’s soccer team beat undefeated Highline 1-0 on Tuesday October 20 in a tightly fought contest.
Prior to the game, Highline was 9-0-0 for the season. The Bellevue women continued their fine run of form and put in a season-best performance to halt Highline’s undefeated record.
Anna Roslander scored late in the first half from a Taylor Weins through ball assist. Roslander went one-on-one with the keeper and fired it in for her twelfth goal of the season.
The second half was a close affair, but with a strong defense and team performance, the Bulldogs saw the game out and took the 1-0 victory. Gaby Adamson and Suri Johnson were solid in defense as they led the team to their eighth shutout of the season.
The Bulldogs are next in action this Saturday October 24 at Tacoma. Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m.
