Bellevue Women’s Soccer Make it Eight Wins in a Row With Victory Over Tacoma

Bellevue College women’s soccer won their eighth consecutive game with a hard fought 3-2 win over Tacoma on Saturday October 24.

Tacoma took an early lead, but the Bulldogs fought back in the first half¬†with two goals from Taylor Weins. The second goal was an outstanding strike from 25 yards into the top left corner. Emma Faust made it 3-1 early in the second half. It was Foust’s first goal of the season after another impressive midfield display. Weins provided the assist.Tacoma came back with a second goal to make it a close¬†finish, but Bellevue held on thanks to a fine one-on-one save from goalkeeper Catie Getzendaner late in the game.

The win capped off a fine week for the Bulldogs and extended their season record to 9-1-0.
