Sophomores Lindsey Gullikson and Meg McMullen tied for medalist honors before Gullikson beat her own teammate in a playoff for the individual honor as the Bellevue women’s golf team won the fall-ending NWAC League Match at Wine Valley GC in Walla Walla. The Bulldogs won the team title by 30 strokes as the BC individuals dominated the leaderboard. Gullikson and McMullen both had a two-day total of 163. Gullikson appeared to be in cruise control for the title outright until a four hole stretch on the back nine where she went six over par. Gullikson bounced back with two pars on holes 17 and 18 while McMullen bogeyed the 18th setting up the playoff between the two teammates.

Freshman Sadie Tallman, who has battled injuries since high school, produced her best two-day total this fall by finishing tied for third overall carding 83-83 over the two days. Tallman also eagled the par 5 15th hole. Kendra Meeker was yet another BC golfer who finished in the top ten shooting 83-84 to finish tied for fourth. Cedar Bowman (91-85) and Franchesca Borja (94-105) rounded out the BC team.

With the fall finale completed, the Bulldogs now look forward to the spring season which begins in March 2016.
