Men’s Basketball Starts Season With A Win

Bellevue College men’s basketball won their season-opener on Saturday November 21 at home with a 62-56 win over Lower Columbia. The Bulldogs had a four-point lead at halftime and never looked back as they held on for the six point win. Freshman Yonathan Michael led BC with 24 points. Michael also led the team with 9 rebounds and 4 assists. The young Bulldogs, suffered heavy graduation losses from last year’s club, including NWAC Baden Player of the Year Dominique Jordan, has only one returning player from last year’s team and one redshirt freshman.

Bellevue’s next game is this Friday November 27 in the Pierce Thanksgiving Tournament at 6:00 p.m. vs. Linn-Benton.
