Bellevue Men Close in on Whatcom, But Fall Short 64-60

Bellevue College men’s basketball fell behind 24-15 in a slowed down first half before speeding up the tempo for 45 points in the second half last night as the Bulldogs fell just short of a comeback, losing 64-60. The Bulldogs’ perimeter game got going in the second half as the team hit seven three-pointers to charge back. David Babayan was 4-for-5 from three point range.

Jordan Muir-Kueng had 12 points while Yonathan Michael had 11 and Jack Walton with 10.

Bellevue falls to 0-6 in league and is looking to snap their six-game losing skid this Saturday as they host second place Everett at 6:00 p.m. The game will be telecast live on cable channel 28.
