New Coach for Bellevue College Women’s Soccer

Bellevue College Athletics has announced a coaching change for their women’s soccer program. Dan Lock, who guided Bellevue’s women’s team to one of their best seasons in the program history this past fall, has recently accepted a new coaching opportunity and will not be able to continue as Head Coach for Bellevue College. Lock stated, “I’ve loved my time at BC and really enjoyed building on the foundations Kiko (Magana, Bellevue’s women’s coach prior to Lock) set and having a great season last year. The program is in a good place.”

Athletic Director Bill O’ Connor has hired Richard Romain-Dika as the new Head Women’s Soccer Coach for Bellevue College.

Romain-Dika is a familiar face at Bellevue College. He was an NWAC all-star for the Bulldog men’s soccer team in 2005 and 2006, leading Bellevue to the finals during his sophomore season. He is coaching the Rainier Beach HS boys’ soccer team this spring and also was on staff for the Cameroon Women’s National Team for the World Cup held in Canada this past year. Romain-Dika has a B.A. in Business Administration from Eastern Washington University and is currently employed in the tech department on campus at Bellevue.
