In what Bellevue College men’s golf coach Bryan Stevens called “a sluggish start,” the Bulldog men’s golf team took third at the Olympic College Invite held at Gold Mountain GC. The Bulldogs finished by champion University of Fraser Valley, a Canadian school, by 12 strokes. Of greater significance was Bellevue finished only three strokes behind their NWAC competitor SW Oregon for second place, which indicates BC is not far from being on top. Of all NWAC schools, Bellevue was the low team on day two with a team total of 304.

Brady Campbell finished tied for 11th with a two-day total of 152, carding a pair of 76’s on both Thursday and Friday. Isaac Hall (154) and Eddie Abellar and Dexter Simonds (both 156 two-day total) rounded out BC’s scoring. Brett Ball (79-80) and Nathan Nulliner (87-87) were Bellevue’s other finishers.

Bellevue plays next at the Highline League Match which will be held at Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club on April 10-11.
