Women’s Golf Takes Third in Season Opener

The defending NWAC champion Bellevue College women’s golf team was stunned in the spring opener, finishing third at the Olympic Invitational at Gold Mountain GC. After winning their fall tournaments by an average of more than 30 strokes, the Bulldogs finished behind Fraser Valley, a Canadian school, and SW Oregon who won the title.

Sadie Tallman led BC by shooting 83-81 over the two days finishing second overall. Kendra Meeker shot 83-90 to finish fifth overall. Captain Meg McMullen shot 93-97 to finish thirteenth overall.

Bellevue’s next match is the spring league opener at Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club on April 10th and 11th.
