Bellevue College men’s golf climbed closer to the top by finishing only 4 strokes behind team champion Olympic College at the Centralia League Match held Sunday April 24-Monday April 25 at Riverside GC in Chehalis. The fifth place finish, but only 4 strokes back, indicates how close and competitive NWAC golf has been during recent matches. The team was consistent both days, shooting 294 on day one and 296 on day two.

Sophomore Brady Campbell finished second overall in the individual standings shooting 73 on day one and going 1-under par on day two. Isaac Hall shot 72-76 and finished tied for 16th overall. Dexter Simonds shot 74-75 for a 19th place finish. Eddie Abellar shot 75-77 to round out Bellevue’s scoring.

The team’s next competition will be the NWAC Championships held May 15-16 at Walla Walla Country Club and Veteran’s Memorial GC in Walla Walla.
