Bellevue College softball cleaned up in awards as the All-NWAC and NFCA All-American Teams were announced. Rachel Delamare, who will be playing at Oregon Tech next year, was named All-American outfielder.  The sophomore from Monroe hit .548 with 12 home runs and 50 RBI’s. Head Coach Leah Francis and her staff were named Coaching Staff of the Year.

In the North Region voting, Francis was named Coach of the Year, Delamare Most Valuable Player, and Ciera Lockwood was named Most Valuable Pitcher. Also named were Tessani Dixon and Cierra Barkis (infield), Brianna Attwood (outfield), Alex Boyd (catcher), and Rayne Sylvester (utility).

On the second team were freshman pitcher Payton Gibbs, and Bellevue’s infield pair of Tinerra “Bubs” Adams and Cassidy Mast.

The large number of Bellevue players selected was an indicator of the team’s depth and many contributors to this year’s phenomenal season.
