Defending NWAC singles champion Moriah Austin won in straight sets 6-0, 6-0 to lead Bellevue College to a 9-0 win over visiting Treasure Valley on Saturday March 18. Austin also teamed with Candice Canley to win #1 doubles, but in a closer affair, by scores of 7-5, 6-4. Bellevue has a big match coming up this Friday March 24 against Highline, a new team that narrowly lost to Bellevue earlier this year. The showdown between the team’s #1 singles players is expected to be a preview of the NWAC singles championship later in May.
