Facing a tough North Region battle for the second consecutive weekend, Bellevue College softball lost a pair to Edmonds by scores of 3-0 and 8-3. In game one, Payton Gibbs pitched well, surrendering only three runs on six hits. She, and the Bulldogs fell victim to the dominant pitching of Edmonds’  Seli Aholelei who fired a no-hitter at the Bulldogs. In the second game, Bellevue was up 1-0 before a fatal six-run inning by Edmonds off pitcher Kimber Tutt. Aholelei would again throw in game two, but did not dominate in the fashion she did in the first game. Cierra Barkis and Emma Jiminez both homered for Bellevue.

The Bulldogs are now 10-6 overall and travel to Everett on March 30 at 2:00 p.m.
