Bellevue College men’s golf won in a tie-breaker over North Idaho College, shooting a two-day total of 12-over par. The rounds were played Saturday April 29 at Liberty Lake GC and on Sunday April 30 at MeadowWood GC.  The Bulldogs had a two-stroke advantage after day one but slipped on day two, but still managed to scratch out the win. Dexter Simonds and Evan Galando led the way for BC. Simonds finished tied for second overall in the individual competition and posted a team-best two-day total of 2-under par. He shot 5 under on Sunday which was the low round in the entire field. Galando shot 69-73 for a two-day total of 142 and finished third overall, right behind BC teammate Simonds. Will Mansfield shot 71-77 finishing T12th.

Bellevue now will play in the SW Oregon Invitational on May 14-15 at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Bandon, OR.
