Bellevue College continued its momentum to a possible NWAC Championship by defeating Skagit Valley yesterday 8-1 en route to a perfect 6-0 league record. The regular season tennis champions now will look to earn the overall NWAC title this weekend in Spokane.
In the Skagit Valley match, No. 1 singles Edgar Quintero won 6-0, 6-1 and was named Under Armour NWAC Player of the Week. He also combined with Bence Da Re to take No. 1 doubles 6-1, 6-1. Da Re, Hikaru Gushiken, and Shu Chatani also won singles matches in straight sets. Here are the complete results:
