Bellevue College was well-represented on the 2017 NWAC Fall Sports Academic Excellence Awards with seven student-athletes named to the list.
Four BC men’s soccer players received conference academic recognition: Liam Knox, Omar Paez, Sahaj Singh and Justin Warren.
Women’s soccer players Brianna Manning and Meaghan White earned a spot on the list, along with Erika Weber of the Bulldogs conference runner-up volleyball team, which had only three sophomores.
Qualifications for recognition were to be a sophomore in eligibility, have a minimum of 36 credits earned, a 3.25 cumulative GPA and be recommended by the College.
The 2017 Fall Awards list, released Nov. 20, includes four sports – men’s soccer, women’s soccer, volleyball and cross country. Bellevue College does not compete in cross country.
