The Bellevue Softball Team took time out of their busy fall schedules and the hectic holiday season to help in the local community!

On Sunday, November 18, the Bulldogs assisted with the annual Yulefest Celebration in Ballard, WA. The Yulefest is an event celebrating the traditions of the Scandinavian community of Ballard. The team helped sell tickets, serve food, buss tables and assist with the fundraising efforts off the Nordic Heritage Museum. The Bulldogs continued to help promote the spirit of the holiday’s by hanging Christmas lights for seniors in Maple Valley (see photo attached) and Greenwood on December 2nd and December 7th.

The efforts brought light, festiveness and smiles to the faces of the community!Said Bellevue head coach Leah Francis, “Service to our community continues to be an extremely important part of our program and has an impact way beyond the softball field; is important year-round, but especially during the holiday season, when our efforts can help bring a bit of hope and happiness to those around us!”
