Jordan Hunter Signs With Lewis-Clark State

After a successful first season at the helm of Warrior Volleyball, head coach Shaun Pohlman announced the signing of Jordan Hunter for the 2019 season.

“Jordan came into our prospect camp in December and turned every head in the gym,” Pohlman said. “She is a high flyer who can terminate. In just a short time, Jordan showed she is coachable not only in her willingness to make adjustments, but also the ability to do so. She demonstrated she can grow and that is the direction we want to go in this program. We are happy to have Jordan in the Warrior Volleyball Program!”

Hunter, a native of Puyallup, Wash. transfers to LC from Bellevue College after a successful two seasons with the Bulldogs. In 2018, she tallied 395 kills with a .260 attack percentage. She was named the North Region Player of the Week twice, earned Second Team All-Northern Region, and was selected to the Sophomore All-Star Team. Hunter earned the NWAC Academic Excellence Award as well.

“We are so excited for Jordan to be moving on to play at Lewis-Clark State College,” Bellevue head coach Jocelyn Lawrence said. “Her hard work and dedication has improved her talent while at Bellevue and we look forward to seeing her growth at LC and watch her continue to help their program be successful.”

“I can’t wait to be a Warrior for my last two years of college,” Hunter said. “I am super excited to move somewhere new and create new friendships. Most importantly, I’m looking forward to being a part of the volleyball family and grow as a student-athlete at LC!”
