Men’s Tennis Loses 6-3 to PLU

Bellevue College men’s tennis continued their tour against competitive four-year programs by taking on Pacific Lutheran University yesterday at Sprinker Recreation Center, losing 6-3 to the Lutes.

Yev Kolomiyets took home #2 singles honors with a tough 6-2, 1-6, 6-3 win over PLU’s Justin DeMattos. Ivan Paredes also won #6 singles, 6-0, 6-4.

In doubles play, Paredes and freshman Hayden Wood defeated the Lutes’ Jake Kim and Branson Near 8-7.

Bellevue now gets a month off before a March 22 match against Spokane to open up league play. The first serve is set for 1:00 p.m. at Spokane.
