Women’s Tennis Falls To Willamette 8-1

Bellevue College women’s tennis fell 8-1 last night in Salem, OR in the squad’s final non-league tune up against formidable four-year college competition before league play opens up next week against rival Highline College on March 8.

Sophomore Haylie Irving won the lone Bellevue match 3-6, 6-0, 1-0 (10-6).

Bellevue wastes no time getting back to tough competition but this time in NWAC; the first serve is set for 8:00 p.m. in their league-opening rival match against Highline next Friday at the Boeing Employees Tennis Center in Kent.
