Women’s Tennis Upended By Spokane

After winning their league-opener against westside rival Highline, the Bellevue College women’s tennis team lost to their eastern Washington nemesis, Spokane last night, 7-2.

The Bulldogs lost in straight sets in all seven matches they lost but had two winning points in #3 singles as Annie Luong won 6-3, 6-4 before Joanne Sakoda an Heather Lin took #3 doubles in a battle 9-7.

Bellevue is now 2-1 in league and 2-3 overall. The Bulldogs continue their swing east of the mountains after taking today off with matches at Treasure Valley tomorrow beginning at 9:00 a.m.
